I did the $3 x 3 offer for paying with Google Pay debit card in grocery restaurants over the last week, and the credits posted within a few minutes of each transaction. Surprised how easy / painless it was.
Me and P2 used samsung pay on our phones, and instantly got $5 from Google Pay for an unknown reason. I wonder if it was this, what a weird glitch.

Same here. $9 on groceries and you have to have a Gpay balance that can cover your whole purchase. No thanks.
The heading says $10 back. But when you read closely, said $5 back. Good for one time. Confusing.
Just did it. Can confirm it is $10, not $5. Though in the terms and conditions says $5.
