Our Verdict
Works for me, but SD is saying it’s not working for everyone. YMMV.
Hat tip to SD
I saved the offer, but when I went to Instacart and tried to place an order, the discount didn’t show up automatically. Does it mean I am not eligible for the promo?
No longer visible; if you have it, better use it fast!
Just used it Tuesday at 230 pm EST and it worked.
NB: if you’ve a business account, there is no way to see the offer in your wallet, as with personal accounts. Just clicked and prayed!
Worked for me. $20 comes off the top so I was charged $76 instead of $96. Rakuten had a 10% Instacart cash back deal yesterday too. Waiting to see if that will kick in. I’d guess $7.60 back. I ordered extra over $80 in case they refunded a lot of items.
does rakuten pay out for non-new customers?
cashapp has 20% discount, think you can link your cashapp card to paypal
I tried it out yesterday and it worked but hopefully it’ll work out better for you next time.
I saved the offer. It says both “ends today” on the offer, “7 days left” if I scroll down and view it elsewhere in my account, and in the terms gives an expiration in the year 2027 (“ Redemption Period: Starts at February 8, 2022 6:44 PM and ends at February 9, 2027 7:59 AM ”). What’s the truth?
To clarify (?) I received an email from PayPal confirming I have the offer, and it specified starting today and ending on the 20th.
Able to save the offer. It would be awesome if this can be combined with Instacart gift card credits which I bought at 15% discount from paypal yesterday.
You will have to pay through PayPal, so I don’t see how gift cards can be used.
And, Instacart does not let you buy giftcards through paypal.
In the terms, it seems to be a bit different than the previous offer as it appears it’s not off the initial purchase if you have a personal PP account. That can bite you if out of stock or substitutions put the subtotal under $80.
Reward: $20 voucher that will be viewable in the “Offers” section of the Eligible Participant’s PayPal account for personal or premier accounts. For business accounts, the Reward will only be visible during checkout and on the purchase transaction receipt(s).
