[YMMV] Raise: $10 off $100+ With Promo Code HOLIDAY

Update 11/16/20: Deal back with promo code HOLIDAY

The Offer

  • Raise is offering $10 off $100+ when you use promo code HOLIDAY

Our Verdict

Probably better than the 10% that portals are offering frequently due to the tracking issues involved with them.

Isn’t it ironic that TCB/Raise stopped offering higher cashback after they fixed the system? It used to be every other week back then.

Not targeted for SAVVY unfortunately, says code is for “specific customers”

Just an observation here. Retail companies like JCPenney and Macy’s (just using those two as examples) are under intense pressure and bankruptcy seems possible. Realistically it seems possible that their gift cards could end up being worthless. Raise.com has hundreds or even thousands of these gift cards. Macy’s gift cards are discounted only 6%, JCPenney even less. Why are sellers not discounting their gift cards more? It seems like gift cards of endangered companies ought to be selling at more of a discount? Maybe I’m missing something.

I’ve been selling mine there, actually, spurred on by alarm at the news that in mid-March the Cheesecake Factory said they weren’t going to be able to pay their rent (!) for April…

Not targeted. Pretty much always the case.
