If planning to buy a 2nd popcorn for your date or family, ask to upgrade the free 1. The concessions counter at my Regal Cinemas treated a similar reward last year as $6 off any size popcorn. Small for $0, medium for $1, or large for $2.
I’ll pass I wouldn’t want to be the one to put them into bankruptcy.
I go to Cinemark on $5 Tuesdays and buy a large popcorn with my year long bucket for about $5. I also get their rewards points which is about 2% when I redeem then for a dollar off my bucket. It’s a cheap movie date for my girlfriend and me.
