Anyone tried for online order? Can I buy GC?
The fine print says : “Place your first online order of $20+ with delivery directly to your home between January 10, 2022–January 19, 2022 and receive a $20 Sam’s Club eGift Card. ”
Does the term “delivery to your home…” means in order to be eligible for the promotion you have to use the delivery service that has a fee of $8 for plus members or $12 for regular members? Or will the regular online order shipped to home qualify for the $20 GC?
So there’s no min purchase required?
No luck for me, long time member. I did while searching my email for “incoming” finally figure out why they sent me a $10 gift card back in the fall. Apparently I had autorenew off and they gave me $10 to turn it back on which I must have done.
I have really started using Sam’s much more than Costco. I may drop Costco membership because I find nothing to keep it active for. This is a great offer from Sam’s highlighting some of their biggest strengths
I’m with you. A year ago, it was clear to me Costco was generally better than Sam’s. In the past 6 months my experience is that Sam’s has put a lot of effort into improving their overall service, while Costco has let their services slip.
You’re conflating Sam Club’s desperation to acquire new customers with actual value. When SC hits its quotas, these “biggest strengths” will end and you’ll be jumping ship along with everyone else.
So people only keep their membership for promo giftcards like this one? And not because membership is essentially free?
I’ve only gotten this offer once in the 6+ years I’ve had a ‘free’ SC membership. I’m still a member because it costs me nothing.
Anybody know if this can be stacked/combined with Sam’s new account promo, where you get $xx for using Scan and Go for the first time?

I am newish, haven’t used any of those, and have not been targeted for the offer.
I am a fairly new member (last month).
I used curbside pickup a week into my membership and I got $40 offer from this. The missing one, lo and behold, is the curbside offer.
