Our Verdict
I have no idea how reputable this site is. As the bonus is not provided by UFB Direct you run the risk of getting nothing. I assume they are receiving an affiliate commission and then passing this onto the new account holder (this is something we have done in the past, but without managing the payments ourselves to avoid any issues). Often this incentivized traffic is not allowed, but UFB has worked with Swagbucks for a similar but smaller promotion so I assume it’s allowed. The bonus itself is very easy to meet the requirements for.

Is there a Chex inquiry?
Yes, not sensitive.
seems if you are already a USB cust, no go. I have their savings acct which was at 5.27, now lower. I assume I’m not new, so the bonus is not applicable. Any input?
I assume you meant UFB. barrytuneup
“Legal terms” state new customers only…. but it’s not defined on what it takes to be considered new. However, I’d say you have almost no chance of being a “new customer” as an existing customer.
I am a past UFB customer, and current Axos customer. Usually bank’s define the churning rules, but without those, I am just going to assume I cannot get this bonus too. If anyone has different thought’s or DP’s, please share.
thanks, and yes, made an error in name!
Seems to be back but requires 15K, decent interest though at 4.57%:

Apparently the bonus is in the form of an Amazon gift card this time, not a VGC as in 2023.
Anyone receive a 1099? Or know how to access one?
Yes I received one for $100
Has anyone received the $100 gift card that opened in December? Opened 12/6 and am still waiting but it hasn’t been 60 days yet either.
It’s 60 days after completing the funding requirements:
“Bonus will be sent to the tracked email address within 60 days of completing offer requirements.”
Still waiting
11/17: Account opened with TMN link
11/20: $1.01 deposited
1/09: $100 VGC received
It’s January 7th, I assume this bonus is still valid with $30,000 deposit? Thx
It looks like the promotion is ongoing so yes.
new terms for 12/08. Now 30K deposit required instead of 5K
The 5.25% still makes this a good offer imo.
How long do we think the 5.25% will last considering the pundits are expecting the Feds to lower rates this year?
The new bonus requires a 5,000$ deposit though while the prior one just required to fund with any amount.
It’s still a great offer. You’re getting $100 to hold money for a couple of months with a savings rate at or near the top end of HYSAs. I’m surprised it’s not like $15k or more tbh.
This aged well LOL
I wasn’t offered credit card funding at all. Called in and confirmed. Please correct it so others will not get this wrong information.
